On a day to day basis your duties will include:
  • Managing a large team of staff that covers Quality and Food Safety
  • Developing relationships with clients that include major retailers and large food service operations
  • Ensuring that all Technical and Quality Management Systems for the area are accurately managed, maintained and developed to enable responsive fact based management
  • Mentoring and train your teams to deliver succession planning
  • Actively promoting health and safety within the factory
  • Lead customer Audits and Visits
  • Manage HACCP systems
  • Work closely with NPD, Production and Engineering Teams
  • Driving Continuous Improvement
  • Managing Vendor Assurance


Ideal candidates must have previous experience within a food manufacturing environment and preferably a background with short shelf life products. A HNC or equivalent in a food related subject is desirable as well as a proven track record of successfully managing teams. Candidates must also have experience of HACCP, Managing Audits and developing strong relationships with retailers
