Overview:
My client is looking for a Windows Release Engineer to join their growing team. The Windows Release Engineer will be responsible for preparing, testing and deploying Patches and Base Upgrade releases. The main focus areas will be Wintel Servers (2003 and 2008) and the workstations (XP and Windows 7).
The Windows Release Engineer will also be involved in the aftercare and on-going support of these systems, as well as performing other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
*Minimum 3 years experience in similar role (releases/deployments of Wintel systems)
*Must have excellent Windows XP & Windows 7 experience
*Strong knowledge of release software/framework
*Thorough Windows server ) knowledge
*Experience of ATM, Tivoli and SCCM )
*Fluent French or Dutch language skills, with a good knowledge of English (essential)
