My client is recruiting a Finance and Operations Manager to oversee the company's operational and financial administration. Reporting to the CEO, the Finance and Operations Manager will be a key contributor to the company's short-term and long-term business planning in accordance with strategic objectives.This role offers you the chance to liaise with the senior members of a successful business so is an excellent move for career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Direct, administer, and coordinate the company's operations to optimise resource utilisation and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee financial administration including cash flow optimisation, accounts management, and purchasing.
- Manage capital equipment purchases and inventory.
- Manage financial reporting to grant agencies and accountancies.
- Contribute to the development of short-term and long-term implementation plans and budgets in accordance with strategic objectives.
- Execute contracts with hospital trusts, universities, and commercial vendors.
- Develop and evaluate financial models for strategic partnerships with vendors and large company partners.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in the life sciences or medtech sector.
- Strong command of financial administration.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Aptitude for a fast-paced start-up environment.
- The position is based in Rickmansworth, UK.
