Description

STRESS ENGINEER position is available with an internationally recognised Aerospace Engineering firm in Hamburg, Germany. You will focus your stress experience on SRM or Structural Repair Manual work involving Single Aisle work programmes. This is long term work and junior or senior level Stress Engineers are required.

Job description:

* Linear static mechanical analysis
* Static calculations for justification of Allowable Damage Limits and repairs as per Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) for SA program
* Autonomous application of appropriate justification methods
* Detailed local FE Analyses (linear)
* Writing of static justification reports
* Stress Engineering

You MUST have the following skills:

* Proven background as a Stress Engineer within the Aerospace sector - minimum of 3 years experience
* Structural Repair Manual(SRM) experience
* Rekated hand calculation for SRM justification
* Airbus project experience, preferably with SA Single Aisle programmes (A319, A320, A321 etc)
* PATRAN
* NASTRAN
* ASSACOS
* ISSY or ISAMI (Airbus tools)
* Static Engineering / Linear static mechanical analysis (DFEM)
* English language skills (verbal and written)
* German is desirable but not essential
