Description

Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is a United States government-owned corporation created in 2004, whose mission is to provide assistance that will support economic growth and poverty reduction in carefully selected developing countries that demonstrate a commitment to just and democratic governance, economic freedom, and investments in their citizenry. To receive assistance, eligible countries are required to enter into a public agreement (Compact) with the MCC that includes a multi-year plan for achieving shared development objectives and the responsibilities of each country in achieving those objectives, regular benchmarks to measure progress, multi-year financial plan, and a plan to ensure accountability for the use of Millennium Challenge Account assistance.

The Congressional and Public Affairs Department (CPA) is seeking an experienced Drupal developer to serving as a full time Web Programmer. Successful candidate will join our Web Team and participate in the planning, development, coding, implementation, and management of new and existing web applications to meet the agency's short- and long-term needs. The Web Programmer writes code, develops templates to display content from the website's content management system and coordinates data sharing within MCC for MCC's public website, mcc.gov. The Web Programmer must be able to take concepts and write clean, semantic, standards-based code to create a compelling user experience. In the near term, this position will work with a broad swath of MCC staff on a major website re-design and re-development project. This position works collaboratively with subject matter experts throughout MCC.
