My client, one of the largest Acute trusts in the UK are currently seeking an experienced Information Analyst / BI Analyst to join on a initial 6 month contract starting as soon as possible.The successful applicant should have excellent SQL skills as you will need to design and implement specific developments against a complicated multistage processing and billing system. You will need to have experience working in SQL server 2000 and 2008 and have a good knowledge of both DTS and SSIS packages. A understanding of Cube design would also be advantageous. Key Skills and Responsibilities:
> Strong SQL programming, Design, Development and Implementation Skills
> Strong working knowledge of SQL server 2000 to 2008 > Excellent knowledge of DTS and SSIS ( SQL Server Integration Services) packages > Proficient with Excel and Access including the use of VBA across the suite of Microsoft office Products ( 2003, 2007 and 2010)
Advantageous Skills: > Preferable that the individual would have knowledge of the NHS data model (Although this is not essential)
> A good understanding of Cube Design (SSAS - SQL SERVER ANALYSIS SERVICES) would be advantageous My client are looking for the individual to start as soon as possible and are able to offer £250 per day for 6 months contract initially, with scope for extensions thereafter.
