2) Location: Houston with 25%+ of time spent in Louisiana.
3) Objectives/Responsibilities: The overall objective will be to facilitate clients transition into full ownership of the offshore equipment into one centralized group. The immediate objective will be to provide technical expertise and develop preventive maintenance plans for all equipment. Candidate will also be responsible for quality control, rebuild and refurbishments. The equipment includes, but is not limited to, IWOCS, Tree's, Skids, ROV Tooling, Intervention Tooling, BOP Tooling and other various types of equipment.
3) Profile: Experienced (10+ year) hands on Equipment Engineer. Strong evidence of PM, QA/QC, Inspection and rebuild experience with various types of Equipment. Candidate will need to have knowledge of industry codes such as DNV, API 17D, 6A, 17G. Candidate does not necessarily need an engineering degree, but needs to be ambitious, able to think outside the box and able to work productively on his own.
4) Rate: Candidate will be payed on an hourly basis, this will be a full time 40HR a week position. This contract will be signed on as a year long contract and will be renewed yearly. Candidate's hourly rate will depend on experience.
