Description
For a part of the European commission Fujitsu is actively looking for a Network system engineer to work in Brussels.
Tasks
- Operational management of the ICT production environment for HQ and Delegations:
- Debugging and analysing of reported problems and escalated incidents.
- Direct intervention on ICT infrastructure (Servers, workstations).
- Preparation and test of new reference configurations (CRB) for any supported hardware.
- Basic Network administration tasks.
- Validation and tests of new procedures before release.
- Assistance with roll-out of new ICT infrastructure projects.
- On-site installation/migration/repair missions in delegations.
- Follow-up of incidents assigned to other services within EEAS
- Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures (incident, change, problem, etc)
Experience/Profile
- Windows 2003, 2008 Server administration.
- Datacentres network architecture and configurations
- Network (Proxy & Reverse Proxy; Load Balancer; IP Routing; IP Sec configuration; switched network environments; WAN optimizer)
- Application (SNMP & Syslog management; Security Information and Event Management)
- Hardware Cisco devices
- VOIP
- Security (Firewall; Spam&virus)
Nice to have:
- Active Directory and Group Policies administration.
- Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2010 administration.
- Symantec and Netapp Backup administration and recovery procedures.
- Vmware administration.
- Internet environment administration (browsers, IIS, TCP/IP).
- Microsoft Office products (Office 2003, 2010).
- Client environment (Windows XP and 7).
- Windows configuration & troubleshooting (registry, configuration files ...).
- Hardware environment (PC, Server, peripherals, cabling, etc).
Minimum required
- Experience as LSA - 4 years (2 years if university degree).
- Experience with Service management tools - 1 year.
- ITIL foundations certification.
- Experience with administration of Network administration- 2 years.
- Experience with security - 1 year.
- English and French
