CG Consultants have an urgent requirement for 3 x Mechanical Engineers on an initial 3 - 6 month contract basis (�35.00 - �45.00 an hour). Representing a mechanically biased consultancy that specialise in initial concepts and mechanical ideas for a variety of large organisations globally. As a Mechanical Engineer you will have the opportunity to put your ideas and concepts into real life products, this is an opportunity for a creative Mechanical Engineer with a very reputable company. My client take their customers problems and issues and endeavour to provide innovative solutions, this is done in a very creative way from concept to prototyping.

* Initial 3 - 6 months
* �35.00 - �45.00 per hour
* On site Kitchen and catering facilities
* Rural work setting
* Based in Cambridgeshire

THE CANDIDATE
Mechanical Engineer x3
* Mechanical background, working with initial concepts through to solution (high volume manufacturing /design for the purpose of manufacturing preferred)
* All applicants must be Degree qualified (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering
* Abilities in Concept Generation (projects from start to finish), Mechanism Design and Prototyping
* A strong mathematical ability is essential for this position as you will be required to conduct stress calculations and fluid flow calculations (knowledge of FEA is beneficial), please provide clear examples of this on application
* Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks preferred) and CAD experimentation
* Good development skills, ideally a experience with prototyping and models
* Ideally a creative and forward thinking mindset

THE ROLE
Mechanical Engineer x3
* Primarily, mechanical concept and creative solutions
* Developing mechanical designs for a range of products and processes in the healthcare, industrial and consumer sectors
* Working closely with analysts and prototype team to provide continuous solutions
