IT Operations, Paris, 3 month rolling contract, €350-€400 per day
Great opportunity for an IT operations specialist, preferably with experience in the VoIP environment to join one of Europe's most exciting start-up companies!
One of the top providers of VoIP applications on mobile devices, with smart Voice Mail and messaging available also this is one organisation that sees themselves going head to head with the likes of Skype and Whatsapp!
We're looking for someone with demonstrable experience of IT Operations, who can comfortably join a team of seven where Linux and Vmware are common knowledge, and networking layers include https and Firewalls.
The responsibility of a successful IT Operations applicant will be the following:
- Maintain high levels of availability and quality of the service in production
- Provide a technical framework and infrastructure to development and validation teams.
- Platform scaling to manage a service with millions of users
- Facilitating deployment management
A successful candidate for this role will have the following skills/experience:
- Linux
- VMWare
- Https
- IPSEC
- Firewalling
- Switches (eg Cisco, Juniper)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Technical architecture experience
- Experience with scalable file systems (eg Ciph, Gluster, Moose)
- Experience in LAMP, J2EE, and VoIP environments is a plus
- French speaking is a bonus!
