I am looking for a Server Engineer for my client in Ghent.
My client is a well known company.
Description of tasks
- Managing the Microsoft -based Servers (physical and virtual)
- Installation and operation of the Microsoft clusters ( NLB and WFCS )
- Management of virtualized Servers ( SC VMM )
- Monitoring of incidents
- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent experience
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies (preferably MCSA and/or MCSE qualified)
- Understanding concepts such as WINS/DNS/DHCP/DFS/FSRM.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server Editions
- Knowledge of System Center VMM
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of PowerShell, VBScript, batch files
- Knowledge of Microsoft IIS Versions 6 and 7.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of System Center 2012 R2 products: SCOM, SCCM, DPM, SCSM and Orchestrator.
- Understanding testing methods and analytical work
- English
- ITIL foundation
12 months ++ contract
