Software Asset Management Senior Consultant (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Analysis of current state (SAM maturity assessment) according to market standards (e.g. ISO/IEC :2012, Cobit 5, ITIL V3)
- Evaluation of and guidance on the current SAM improvement plan with a focus on functional requirements for server license management
- Creation of an implementation concept for a global SAM governance model and support of its implementation
- Determine tool set for server license management and support the roll-out of a server software inventory tool by providing test cases for a proof of concept to verify whether the evaluated tools are providing the required information
- Create documentation for a software recognition service, support a possible tender and selection of a Service Provider
- Migration of commercial data and updating of all license inventories by identifying and uploading of information out of software contracts
- Migration of technical data and updating of all usage inventories with special focus on hardware data, partitioning and virtualization information, software recognition, license requirements calculation and license reconciliation
- Define and implement processes for fully automated data uploads and updates as well as quality assurance of all SAM inventories
- Support the development of all relevant interfaces to the Software License Management system
- Carry out workshops and trainings for SAM processes and tools to the global Software License Management community
Your qualifications
- Experience of software asset management processes, tooling and industry standards, client and supply side
- Experience in one or more relevant technical area
- Experience managing complex SAM and IT projects
- Advanced skills regarding system platforms, client & server, midrange and large environments
- ISO/IEC :2012, Cobit 5, ITIL V3
- Successful, multi-year track record in a SAM organisation
- Team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organisation
- Analytical, logical, problem solving, time management, consultative, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) and local languages if necessary
- Strong business planning skills
- High energy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
- Experience working in the Financial Services/Management industry
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
- ITIL Manager qualification (preferred) / ITIL Foundation qualification (minimum)
