Description
- The Ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Work closely with local operations to learn the operational duties in the area; this may include on-call responsibilities, alarm call-outs, etc;
- Learn the company standards, company procedures and all local, state and federal regulations and be able to work with other personnel (engineering, environmental, etc) to ensure compliance in the operating area;
- Working with operations, identify optimization and efficiency projects and perform evaluations to determine their economic viability;
- Working with operations, identify any mandatory projects that require completion to be in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations;
- If projects pass the initial economic hurdles, take the lead in working with other groups (engineering, environmental, legal, etc) to move the projects forward;
- Learn how to read, develop, review and/or approve an array of project design documentation including: equipment specification sheets, PFDs, PIDs, plot plans, and equipment layouts.
- Review engineering standards and provide feedback and recommendations as appropriate.
- Be able to handle assignments and small projects, provide regular status updates (communicating with project stakeholders), and be proficient in resource scheduling.
- Develop a broad knowledge of natural gas processing and operations.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas.
