Real Staffing are working with a newly established CCG in the Home Counties who require an interim Finance Manager to support them as they look to develop their finance department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an NHS Finance Manager who is looking to build-on their commissioning experience within a challenging role.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong financial management and system skills with a comprehensive understanding of current NHS changes and policies.
Key Duties:
- Supporting the development of the CCG's medium/long-term financial plan
- All aspects of budget setting, forecasting and reporting
- QIPP scheme monitoring and delivery
- Preparation of the Annual Operating Plan
- Business case development and evaluation
- Advising on PbR policies
- Monitoring contract activity and reporting on financial performance
- Meeting with commissioners and budget holders
- Supervising and developing junior staff
- Reporting to the Head of Finance
Key Experience:
- CCAB Part-Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA etc.)
- Recently worked within a CCG, CSU or PCT
- Operate at band 8a level
- Background within management accounting
- Strong Excel and system skills (including SBS)
- Knowledge of PbR and IFSE
The CCG are looking to shortlist candidates as soon as possible with a view to commencing work in January.
The daily rate is negotiable and will be based on the experience and skills of the successful applicant.
