Description
Ai is seeking a bi-lingual (Japanese and English) Senior Digital Product Copywriter for the creation and editing of content for a key international insurance client. The ideal candidate should have experience writing directional copy that helps a user intuitively navigate an online experience. He/she should also have experience writing compelling descriptions for complex products.
This is a hands on position and the candidate should be able to create and define a brand voice, set the over all tone and deliver consistent copy for long and short product descriptions, body copy, directional copy, FAQs, error text, help text and CTAs. The Senior Digital Product Copywriter not only contributes to their own discipline, but also collaborates with Strategy, UX and Creative to create exceptional digital experiences.
Responsibilities/Qualifications
- A writer's writer. Versatile and can easily adapt copy voice and tone.
- Proven experience partnering with user experience designers and editing copy for wireframes
- Enjoys tossing ideas around and concepting with a designer but is also happy to actualize those ideas and just write.
- Exceptional grammar, writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
- Able to comfortably present work and speak to copy decisions thoughtfully and with conviction.
- Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively.
- Thrives (and still smiles) in a fast-paced, tight deadline, creative environment.
- Flexible with a great sense of humor
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent communication and organization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable and happy to pitch in and also work on internal projects like Ai's site, case studies, blog articles, presentations, etc. if needed.
- Command of writing specifically for the Japanese
- Understanding of content strategy is a plus
- Familiarity with the insurance business and/or Japanese market is a plus
