Description

Primary Function of Position:
This position is responsible for all phases of receipt, movement, storage, tracking, and shipment of materials required for production and order fulfillment. Job duties include: SAP materials transactions, inventory accuracy and facilitates support of daily manufacturing operations (put-away and replenishment) throughout the warehouse.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving, stocking and cycle counting of parts.

Reconcile discrepancies and work with finance to do inventory adjustments

Work with the planning, shipping, and finance groups to ensure parts are set up, and transactions are processed correctly to facilitate reporting and ensure inventory accuracy.

Contribute to process improvement to better manage inventory and inventory movement

Reviews component inventory levels and replenish bins where necessary

Process SAP material transactions in a timely and accurate fashion

Work with repair technicians and planners to expedite material to resolve shortages.

Maintain the security and accuracy of inventory

Maintains inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basis.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:
2+ years of Materials experience preferred

Bachelor Degree preferred

Possess prior warehouse or experience in all aspects of receiving, shipping, and manufacturing operations support

Inventory management experience (cycle counts, physical inventory)

Knowledge of kanban systems and other lean material handling principles

Prior medical industry experience

Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems) preferably SAP and Agile.

Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently each day

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
