Virtualisation Consultant - Investment Bank - 60-70kVirtualisation Consultant required for a leading London based financial organisation
Key Responsibility:
- Take a personal responsibility to help grow the virtualisation practise
- Self-starter, motivated to over deliver
- Excellent client management and facing skills
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- You will be performing needs analysis, information gathering on client expectations and technical baselines for writing technical reviews.
- You will need a good knowledge of Citix and VMware architecture.
- You will be responsible for end to end management of large scale implementation projects over a number of client sites.
- Liaison with external Third Party software development teams.
- An good understanding of Virtualization an understanding of particularly Virtual Desktops would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Trading Infrastructure Exchange Connectivity, Messaging Architectures, Low Latency, and Performance Tuning would be beneficial
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in the Banking & Finance industry
- Citrix XenApp
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix XenSever
- VMWARE experience
- Virtual Desktop
- Data Mirroring
- Windows (2000, NT, Server, XP, 7)
- Controlling Backs Up
- Support and Delivery
