Description
The implementation of a solution utilising Microsoft Systems Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) to deploy a number of Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft windows 7 Operating System to 4000+ desktops. This will involve the creation of the Windows 7 builds and Windows server builds and the design, implementation and configuration of SCCM. The initial phase of work will involve a test of the solution on pilot sites with a plan for the full roll out to be determined and implemented thereafter.
Essential Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager is acceptable)
- Deployment, installation & maintenance of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows XP and Windows 7) and Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2012)
- Excellent Desktop knowledge on the full range of current Microsoft Operation Systems (mainly XP and Windows 7)
- Knowledge of W7 migrations from XP
- Solid experience with Active Directory & Group Policy
- Good working knowledge of network infrastructures
- At least one Microsoft Certification in an area related to the role, ideally MCSA or higher
- Flexibility on travelling between sites in Telford, London and Worthing
