WebLogic Administrator urgently required. To undertake some troubleshooting consultancy work in Cardiff.
Need someone with good WebLogic , Oracle Forms 11g, JVM Configuration and with good issue resolution experience.
Customer are having memory usage problems on their webforms 11g infrastructure, which they can't solve themselves. No underlying pattern has been identified but they have had x3 occurrences of problems in as many weeks. In particular, this leads to rapid growth in Kernel CPU, followed by extremely rapid exhaustion of swap-space, causing the complete 'hang' of a server. This occurs on any one of 4 physical Servers. Indications are that it could well be related to an orphaned frmweb process.
As a result the customer is losing sessions and time as the server has to be stopped and started. This has impacted the other 3 Servers at the same time but believed to be a clustering setting which is being resolved.
Following your investigation, customer are keen to learn if there are any known workarounds eg re-starting JVM's, containers, the database etc.
