Description
To support a customer project, we are looking for a Software developer for LTE protocol testsoftware and test cases (m/f) featuring the below stated skills and experience:
Your tasks:
Development, integration and test of 3GPP layer 1 - 3 programming APIs and test scenarios for LTE signaling protocol, mobility and Inter-RAT tests
Focus is on test scripts development for verification of UE LTE Rel-10 and Rel-11 features
Analysis and follow-up of customer problem reports via PR databases and by e-mail / phone
Development Tools:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for test script development in C/C++
C++ test case development API and libs and protocol testing software tools for log file analysis
Rational ClearCase for software configuration & build management
Bugzilla for bug tracking
Your Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years experience in LTE or WCDMA RAN protocol stack / test case development
Excellent know-how of relevant 3GPP LTE (mandatory) and WCDMA (optional) PHY, layer 2 and layer 3 radio access network core and test specifications
Experience in object oriented design and implementation of protocol test cases or protocol stacks in C / C++ for above RATs (mandatory)
Practical experience working with mobile communications testers and test mobiles (optional)
Soft Skills:
Very good knowledge of English language (mandatory)
Very good communication and presentation skills (English)
Team player used to work in multicultural and international project teams
Long term project, requires commitment for at least 2 years work in Munich/Germany
Willingness to travel required (worldwide)
