Description
QUALIFICATIONS:-A minimum of a BSME or equivalent is required.
-A minimum of 2 years of relevant work (mechanical medical devices)experience is preferred.
-Ability to successfully work on multiple projects.
-Innovative thinker and excellent communication skills
-Experience with Solidworks, Pro-E, and tolerance stack analysis preferred
-Experience with assembly of medical devices such as injection molding and plastics preferred.
-Experience with outsourced medical device design or manufacturing and process development is preferred.
-Experience working on products regulated by FDA QSR, design controls, and ISO13485 is preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Responsible for the design and development of mechanical drug delivery systems, further develop design for high volume manufacturing, and execute VnV plans.
-Regularly interacts with team members of R&D, manufacturing, quality, etc and maintains communication and involvement with other project team members.
-Contribute to the strategy of the project, including product design, manufacturability, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Assist with and ensure the conformance to design control policies (QSR and ISO 13485) and standards to ensure compliance and product quality.
-Address problems with high level analysis and evaluation of issues.
