My client, a world leader in medical technology, is currently recruiting an Engineering Project Lead to join their team in Co. Offaly. The successful candidate will lead the validation of products and processes that is applicable to this facility and will lead Engineering and transfer validations for all projects.Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of all projects on time and on budget.
- Improve designs through projects.
- Improve on product transfers from Product Development to manufacturing.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance and supervision during project phases.
- Continuously improve the manufacturing and test processes through a Continuous Improvement Program.
- Review and/or develop and execute facility, process and equipment validations and risk management summaries.
- Review for compliance to Quality System requirements, Software projects including software validations.
- Review change controls for validation impact.
- Use knowledge of statistics to assist with validation developments and process improvements.
- Support Engineering and Manufacturing teams and lead investigations as required
- Good project planning and organizational abilities.
- Assertive and with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Pro-active with proven ability to work under own initiative and strong team player.
- Wiliness to travel to suppliers or other company sites as part of duties.
Education/Requirements:
- Degree in a technical discipline.
- Familiar with electronic and electro-mechanical systems manufacturing.
- Familiarity with the requirements of validating product and processes.
- Exposure to ISO-9000 and/or ISO-13485 series.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Equipment and Process & Software Validation experience desirable
- Excellent communication and skills - written, oral and pc.
