Data migration specialistData migration specialist required at required at a global technology FTSE 100 organisation.The main focus of the role is on the conversion/migration of Legacy systems to SQL. On client data migration projects, You will work closely with the Data Migration Architect and Program Manager to articulate a scope, design, and implementation plan for the migration(s).
Rate: 450 PD
Location: Leeds
Term: 6 Months
Required:
* Substantial experience of providing IT support for a variety of industries with a particular emphasis on process and data.
* Proven track record for:
o Establishing a high degree of organisation and structure.
o Prioritising and managing many concurrent tasks and projects.
o Project management experience required
* Strong proficiency in the following areas:
o Data/Information Strategy
o Data Governance o Data and Information Security
o Metadata Management technologies and methods such as Informatica Metadata Manager and IBM Metadata Workbench and Business Glossary
o Data Quality Measurement and Remediation technologies and methods such as Informatica Data Explorer and IBM QualityStage
o Data Integration and Data Migration technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter and IBM DataStage
o SQL
* Excellent communication skills
