I am looking for a Forecasting Analyst to join a top bank based in Gloucester. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their cards and savings business.Responsibilities
Forge enduring business partnering relationships with all areas of the savings business.
Support with the delivery and accuracy of the forecast, ensuring that forecast templates are completed on a timely and accurate basis.
Primary operator of forecast models and expected to act as SME for detailed queries around the forecast data
Perform variance analysis of the forecast against the previous quarterly forecast and provide clear explanations, understanding any residual variances that are within model tolerances.
Articulate clear and simple explanations and implications of the information to add insight and stimulate debate amongst the senior Products executives.
Requirements
May be qualified and /or studying for a professional finance qualification, or have equivalent relevant experience
Develop practical understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
Awareness of market and industry environment (commercial awareness)
Ability to implement change
Presentation skills
Advanced Excel, preferably VBA for Excel model build experience
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level ideal working from a finance background.
Contract role offering an initial 6 months and is based in Gloucester.
Rates between 300 and 350 per day.
