Description
A world-class aerospace engineering firm, in both civil and military markets, is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join their long term A350 project. Working within the multinational team, located in Hamburg’s aerospace engineering centre, the Design Engineer will be responsible for 2D drawing of single parts and assemblies and product structures with VPM and PDMLink SSCI management.Duties will include:
* Design Engineering as part of an on-going A350 work programme
* Creation of 2D drawings of single parts and assemblies for the A350XWB
* Management of the product structures with VPM and PDMLink SSCI
* Handling of concessions and DQN with Airbus SAP
In order to be considered for the role, you will need the following:
* You MUST HAVE experience on A350 Fuselage Design
* Experience of design engineering for Aircraft Skin, frames, cut-outs and door surrounds
* Be educated to a Degree level in Engineering with Aeronautical education and background
* Working knowledge of Catia V5 is a must
* PDM link SSCI
* At least 1 year experience with Airbus 350 VPM Method
* SAP and ICC knowledge desirable
* Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
