Job Description
Job Title: Principal Project Management Specialist
Job Duties: Proactively develops and adapts quantitative and qualitative project management and analytical techniques to optimize Process performance, organization capacity and throughput.,Seeks out and engages regularly with peers, creating an environment of exchange and learning. Openly shares successes and failures to promote the group's collective learning.,Mentors and coaches Core Team Leads. Implements initiatives across multiple sites that improve PD performance, project management metrics and functional support.

Request Notes: POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Lead a division-wide, cross-functional Test Method Validation (TMV) implementation project. Develop project estimates, high level proposals, detailed work plans, resource plans, and schedules. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities should show the key accountabilities for the role.
Responsible for all phases of TMV implementation including retrospective validation (remediation) and prospective validation.
Build trust and rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate project team and executive (ie VP) level steering committees discussions
Define and Implement project scope and objectives along with applicable project estimates, detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans
Provide leadership to multiple project sub-teams to achieve project objectives with high-quality work products that are delivered on time and on budget
Ensure end results meet business and stakeholder benefit expectations
Monitor project financial metrics and make adjustments where necessary to meet scope, schedule and budget expectations
Institutionalize Neuromodulation's Test Method validation life cycle process and ensure procedures are implemented effectively for project management processes and techniques
Provide analytical guidance to project team in support of issue and risk resolutions
Escalate project issues as appropriate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to create detailed project plans in Microsoft Project
Resource, cost, and budget planning/estimation experience
Fiscal management, budget tracking, and reporting experience
Experience facilitating working sessions and steering meetings
Experience creating risk mitigation strategies
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience in conducting or implementing measurement systems analysis (or TMV)
Demonstrated success managing medium-scale, complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and partners in a Matrix organization
Demonstrated success in creating a motivating environment for team members
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and take a proactive approach to manage change
Excellent judgment and decision making skills when under pressure
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Exerts significant discretionary effort'
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
Minimum of five years of people management experience
