Description
The ideal candidate would be experienced in the development of embedded C software for medical devices. My client needs an engineer who is detail-oriented and a fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions. The engineer will be needed to resolve remaining software issues, document the software design, document/execute unit level tests, document/execute integration level tests and debug/resolve issues found during testing.The following experience is required:
- 5+ years of embedded C programming experience
- Unit level testing
- Integration level testing
- Excellent documentation skills using Microsoft Word
The following experience would be nice to have but not required:
- Use of any bug tracking tool (Mantis Preferred)
- Use of any software configuration management tool (SourceSafe preferred)
- Use of the MPLAB IDE to develop software for Microchip microcontrollers
- Experience with SPI bus communication
