C#/.NET Ektron CMS Software Developer - £300 P/D

An urgent opportunity has arisen for an experienced developer who has demonstrable experience using Ektron CMS. Ideally you will have set it up, configured and integrated it. Working in a C#/.NET environment for an inital 3 months.
Role Description:

* Your role will be to produce high quality, documented code to specification on any of our internal and external websites that are used throughout the company and the outside world.
* Our external websites provide the gateway to company, and allow IFAs and consumers to do business with the company.
* The team also develops and supports a lot of back end services so strong SQL and C# coding knowledge would be beneficial.
* You will take an active role in maintaining and enhancing these systems as well as developing new systems and functionality as required.
* You will report to the Web Team manager and be expected to take an active role within the team, helping shape solutions, produce technical requirements and write code to develop and support new and existing websites in our area.

Requirements:

* Proven coding experience in several if not all of the following: C#, WCF,ASP.NET,MVC,XML, HTML, CSS, LINQ, Entity Framework, SharePoint 2010, Ektron CMS.
* Proven relational database design and programming skills (SQL Server 2008).
* General understanding of distributed system architecture.
* Experience working in an Agile methodology (specifically DSDM)
* Full project lifecycle experience.
* Experience of Unit/system testing.
* A motivated self-starter with a collaborative approach.
* A positive and proactive approach to work.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work to challenging timescales.
