Description
This position will be heavily involved in client education regarding available test options and technical and clinical aspects of molecular-based assays. In addition, genetic counselors attend multiple national genetics meetings as exhibitors, guest speakers, and attendees. Publication collaboration is encouraged with other medical professionals and colleagues outside and inside the organization.Candidates must have thorough and ongoing knowledge of current theories and principals of human genetics acquired through the completion of a Master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling training program or equivalent & ongoing education. Post-graduate genetic counseling experience preferred; will consider ACMG board-eligible new grads as well.
