Description
Quad (a Y-Combinator company) is currently seeking a Front End Javascript Developer to help re-build the front end of our single page app. The ideal candidate will be experienced with backbone and have a solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS3 (transitions,animations,browser prefixes), and Javascript using jQuery and Backbone.
This is a contract position with the potential to be full time hire if desired.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop features in javascript/backbone, html and css using best practices and modern web techniques
- Develop complex front end UI components
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Extensive software design and coding skills
- 2+ years of experience building web UIs
- 2+ years of experience building rich user interfaces in advanced JS/jQuery/AJAX
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience with Backbone.js
- Experience with other javascript MVW frameworks a plus (AngularJS, Ember, Knockout etc.)
- Experience working with advanced HTML5 features in modern browsers a plus
