Description
Due to winning a large project and bringing production back in house, my client has a need for a Production/Industrial Engineer. The Industrial Engineer will have the following responsibilities:- Develop work instructions
- Establish a cell repair process
- Perform time studies
- Track quality issues
- Become an expert at the product line
- Maintain drawings
- Inspect/Test incoming materials
- Analyze the production flow
- Work cross-functionally with the Quality Manager
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
- Experience with Solidworks or another CAD system
- Good communications skills
- Experience reducing cost
- Experience taking a product from inception to manufacturing is preferred
- Medical Device Experience preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field
