Day Rate: £450 - £550 per day

THE COMPANY
Our client is a multi-award winning Software House based in USA (HQ)/London that provides tailor made Django applications solutions to large scale household names in the world of eCommerce including TUI Travel PLC, LateRooms.com, Virgin Media and HMV. They have won numerous awards over the past decade which outlines their bias towards the highest quality products, their exceptional delivery and the forward thinking mentality that they possess. They're constantly striving to grow their product offering and increase their client base, and as a result of a growing demand they have ambitious plans to grow the technology team throughout the course of the next year. As a core part of that growth we're currently looking for a Senior Django Developers to come on board with extensive experience building Web based software solutions using Django on rich web based web applications or eCommerce products built within Django.
THE ROLE
This position will be working in London (west) on a ongoing brownfield project duration would be 6 months, collaborating with a team of DevOps engineers and Designers. All in all the culture is very supportive with 5 contractors already placed via our services ranging from Mid Level all the way to very senior candidates.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Solid commercial experience in the Django development or any i
- Good experience in PostgresSQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience working within an Agile environment, and following TDD principles.
- While you're not expected to be a Front End expert, you will need a solid grasp of Javascript, HTML and CSS.
- Comfortable working within a fast moving environment where you'll be expected to adapt to change quickly.
- Comfortable dealing with clients directly, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to explain the direction that the project is taking.
