Description
My client, a CCG in London, is currently looking for a Commissioning Project Manager for an 8 month contract.This position is strongly linked to Value Based Commissioning/Outcome Based Commissioning so an interest in and an understanding of this is key.
Essential Experience:
- Commissioning with a focus on frail elderly
- Project Management
- Understanding of Commissioning for Value
Key deliverables during this time are:
- Identification of the appropriate measures for outcome hierarchies
- An appraisal of the contract and reimbursement options for delivery of the operating model
- A business case and activity and finance modelling based on the selected contract/reimbursement model
- Form strong links between value based commissioning and linked programmes of work such as the Better Care Fund
- Identify the outcomes to be measured through value based commissioning
- Develop understanding of the methodology for monitoring these outcomes, to be presented to project board
- Liaise with provider organisations in the development of Integrated Practice Units
