Enterprise Level Java Developers - Multiple Roles
The Role:
To be part of our client's experienced software development department in their Sydney office. The software system is based on Java, especially the JEE architecture and is operated by their customers via a web-based user interface. The software system can be used without local installations and our client's aim is to support as many possible devices, especially desktop PCs, smartphones and tablets with attractive modern user interfaces for their software system. This position will be part of an agile team involved in the implementation of complex features using the latest technologies, as well as maintaining the system to a very high standard.
Skills/Experience:
- Highly experienced in object-oriented software development using Java, JEE and relational database systems
- Knowledge of development tools Eclipse, ANT, SVN
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat and JBoss
- Enterprise level experience
- Quick learner associated with analytical skills
- High level of commitment and strong sense of responsibility
- Conceptual and structured way of working
- (specialist) degree in computer science or a comparable course with very good results
