Description
Assignment Summary: The consulting position serves as a User Interface(UI) developer in the Information Technology – Systems Development Department. We are seeking an a developer with three or more years of interactive experience to help on transforming UI architecture into technology assest that engineers can quickly implement within their solutions. You will work with a UX architect and Visual Designer to turn sketches and wireframes into actionable code and markup. You'll get to interface with both our design an development teams, playing a critical role in crafting the user interface solutions and apply your critical eye to enhance the design of existing applications.
Consultant Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
- Manage, maintain and grow a set of enterprise wide css, components and javascript
- Build high fidelity prototypes for client facing technology and other internal base applications.
- Some level of helping internal development teams to enhance user experience heavy stories
- Be a key resource to help educate and grow user interface development practices at GCM
- Strong knowledge in user experience / graphic design principles.
- 3+ years experieces with coding HTML and HTML5, CSS, Javascript and jQuery
- Experience with Reactive layouts, interactive design modeling and authoring tools
- Experience with MVC/MVVM javascript frameworks
- Prefered experience with LESS Framework and Knockout.js
- Perfered experience with javascript unit testing framework such as QUnit
