Description
PDG+creative is looking for a web developer with the following skills/qualifications. Please rate yourself on a scale from 1-10:
Required:
- Fuent in coding/debugging HTML5/CSS3 websites by hand
- Ability to quickly turn PSD into working HTML5/CSS3 static website by hand
- Competent at using jQuery/JavaScript for basic tasks
- Experience correcting front end bugs / cross browser compatibility issues (IE7+ mostly)
- Basic understanding of LAMP stack and PHP/MySQL dynamic websites
- Enough PHP knowledge to be comfortable working with basic dynamic website templates tasks (PHP/MySQL), such as:
- Knowing how opening / closing PHP tags work
- Changing the value of a PHP variable
- Working within basic strings / echo functions
- Understanding how if / else statements work
- Willingness to work in a team environment and follow basic coding standards
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients on troubleshooting/update requests
- A self-starter who takes initiative and is resourceful in learning methods to accomplish tasks in the most efficient manner
- Local developer who can work in house with the interactive team
- 1+ years PHP development experience
- 1+ years MySQL database architecture experience
- 1+ years experience with DNS management
- Basic server admin ability (using program like WHM/cPanel)
- Solid understanding of OOP principles and ability to apply them
- Experience developing with an open source CMS (besides Wordpress)
- Understanding of VCS workflow using .git
