Senior BI Analyst / Information Manager - NHS£350 per day, 6 month contract, Senior BI Analyst / Information Manager - NHS experience
The primary requirement for the Senior BI Analyst / Information Manager is to advise on and interpret information at a senior level for the client to support their planning and decision making. It is not necessarily to produce those information reports in the first place (although those skills would be advantageous also). An understanding of commissioning datasets is certainly a requirement as is the ability to liaise with, report to and make recommendations for senior managers. Experience of operating at this level is highly desirable.
1. Identify and prioritise solutions that improve the business intelligence service of the client.
2. Lead on analytical advice/interpretation/support for the client locality, including:
*Contract (activity and cost) reporting.
*Quality reporting
*Performance reporting
*Comparative analysis (benchmarking)
*Patient pathway and scenario modelling.
*Forecasting
*Health economic analysis
*Predictive modelling
3. Provide analytical support to service redesign projects.
4. Use information and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Lead on preparation of information on a regular basis to enable the client to report to the relevant Boards, Committees, internal meetings and other external bodies.
6. Oversee the development and maintenance of reporting systems for the client, ensuring data input is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Ensure systems are in place to identify potential issues early, report them to the client and other responsible managers and work with them to identify and understand the cause of the issues.
