Infrastructure Security Consultant - MiddlewareBased South Yorkshire
Salary to c. £70,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus
Real Staffing is currently working with our client, a leading financial organisation to assist them in the recruitment of an Infrastructure Security Consultant.
Reporting into the Head of Middleware Security the role will take responsibility for defining, implementing and maintaining Global Infrastructure Security controls across multiple technologies including virtualization (Citrix, VMWare) and middleware (web and application servers, messaging, integration). You will also define and maintain security standards and key risk indicators as well as conduct risk assessments/gap analysis reviews to establish risks and recommend additional control requirements.
To be successful in this role it is expected that you will be able to offer:
- In depth technical/SME knowledge of multiple technologies - ideally IBM Middleware products (with a good overall knowledge of operating systems, virtualisation etc)
- Well developed knowledge of risk management and information security processes and practices
- Ability to identify risk and propose proportionate mitigating controls
- Architectural knowledge and service design
- Excellent communication, inter-personal, relationship management and negotiating skills
