ROLE: Software Engineer (C++, Qt)

LOCATION: Liverpool

LENGTH: 3 Months (excellent extension possibilities)

RATE: £ (depending upon experience)

I have a project requirement for an experience C++ Developer to join an exciting and growing company for an initial 3 month contract, which is highly likely to extend.

The company is forward thinking and develop bespoke software for the health and leisure industry.

The successful candidate will work within the core software development team to build and maintain software, working with the designer to develop applications to a pre-visualised specification.

You will be developing an existing cross-platform application that is currently compatible with iOS/PC and Mac systems. As the application is written in a custom OpenGL-based widget library, OpenGL experience is desirable.

While this role is primarily part of a team, we expect candidates to demonstrate strength in setting their own goals and deadlines, as well as the ability to complete tasks independently and without supervision.

Essential Experience

Highly experienced with C++

Experience with widget libraries such as Qt/WxWidgets

Ability to stick closely to design documents

Experienced with development of large cross platform applications

Self motivated with the ability to guide others

Advantageous

OpenGL experience

Mobile development experience (iOS/Android) a plus

Relevant qualifications/experience

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of libCURL

PHP development experience
