Senior BW/BO Consultant- £65-75k + Benefits- London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a FTSE 100 company as a Senior BW/BO Consultant. You will be responsible for directly driving the information strategy and leading the upgrade of existing BW platforms.
Your responsibilities will consist of:
  • A key role in developing and implementing a BI strategy for the client.
  • Work with BW Super Users to develop and create BW queries and reports that satisfy the reporting requirements of the division.
  • Create functional specifications for reporting requirements and test specifications for reports, and ensure these are formally signed off by super users.
  • Advise on the best solution for specific reporting requirements (SAP ECC, ABAP, BW).
  • Create, develop and work with a Reporting User Group to ensure both efficiency and standardisation in the provision of Business Information and the use of SAP BW.
  • Work closely with the Central Data Governance team to ensure data presented to users is relevant and accurate.
  • Work closely with 3rd party business partners to ensure reporting platform is efficient and reliant from a technical aspect. Ensure service availability targets are met.
  • Manage and control user access to SAP BW to the required level.



Skills Required:
  • 4+ years experience in SAP BW (7.0 preferable).
  • SAP Business Objects.
  • Data Warehousing and use of data/info cubes.
  • Provision of end user and management reports, including creation of customised dashboards and portals.


Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of crystal reports.
  • SAP BW, IP or BPC desirable.
  • SAP R/3 experience and its associated data objects.
  • Knowledge of LSA development standards.
