Ms SQL DBA/Sybase/Unix/Shell/Finance
We are currently recruiting for a MS SQL/Sybase DBA to join our international client on a long term freelance basis. The ideal candidate is expected to stay on board for at least 24 months, starting on a 6 months initial.
Requirements:
-Excellent knowledge of MS SQL
-Ability to write technical documents, building Servers and databases
-Performance and tuning experience
-Understanding of database security and auditing
-Database logging and recovery, especially from various failure scenarios
Preferred technical skills:
-Database encryption technology, segregation of duties and key management
-Sybase ASE 15 in a multi-platform environment (Unix and Linux)
-Unix Shell Scripting
-Server consolidation experience
-Administration of databases in a SAN environment
Soft skills:
-Fluent in English and preferably Dutch
-Background in banking or financial services
-Team player
-Flexible regarding working hours and willing to travel occasionally
