SQL DBA - Brussels - leading client- /day
A SQL DBA required for a leading client based in Brussels. The candidate will have e xperience of working in a critical production environment, take leadership and be able to transfer technical experience and knowledge. The candidate will have strong project management experience and g OOD communication skills.
Required:
- Min. 3 years experience. in multi customer environment SQL
- server Maintaining a SQL Server Business Intelligence environment with Windows/Linux in a multi-domain/multi-customer environment
- 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server ( 2000, 2005, 2008R2 and 2012) experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices :
- SQL Server installation, patching, and upgrades
- Experience with maintaining large databases
- Transactional replication and database mirroring
- Database backup/restore, knowledge of Tivoli Data protector for SQL
- Good working knowledge of database security concepts
- SQL Server Performance monitoring and problem debugging : SQl server Profiler and Windows Performance Monitor, Tivoli monitoring
- SQL Server cluster support
- SQL Server SSRS, SSIS and SSAS - SQL server installation in Microsoft or symantec cluster
- Basic knowledge of MySQL.
- Good knowledge of Tivoli monitoring tool
