Contract Web Developer Marcel Media is an award winning, Inc. 5000 Chicago-based Interactive Digital Agency specializing in Search Engine Marketing. We are looking for an experienced Web Developer on a contract basis, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining front end and back end solutions to address our clients’ website challenges and for supporting our marketing teams.
We are looking for an individual who is organized, innovative and looking to contribute in a team oriented, entrepreneurial environment. The job responsibilities include:
- Developing a public facing ecommerce site using
- ASP.NET MVC, C#
- Entity Framework
- HTML5/CSS3, jquery
- Twitter Bootstrap
- SQL Server
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Experience in Umbraco a plus.
- Monitor and test website performance including speed as well as cross browser compatibility and usage on mobile devices.
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Management Systems.
- Previous experience developing websites using one or more of the technologies above.
- Strong ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Equally strong when working within a team or individually
