Project Manager - Supply ChainDuration: Initial 6 month contract, 12-18 month project

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company who develops and manufactures products that save and sustain the lives of people with acute medical conditions within medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. They are currently undergoing a divestment project having sold a branch of the company and are looking for an experienced supply chain project manager to oversee the transition of product information, customer services knowledge, 22 sites and agreements.
Role
• Take on project management responsibilities in the divestment of the supply chain including product information, providing adequate customer services from the multiple contact centers, supply chain forecasts, logistics, multiple warehouses and follow up.
• Create the model for accomplishing this and rolling it out to the numerous locations.
• Essential to the role will be to manage the liaison with internal and external stakeholders, keeping communication of timelines, changes to expect and explanations transparent as well as mitigating risk, delays and disruptions.
• Ensure that timelines are set, adhered to throughout the project and that the project is delivered on time.
• Up to 50% travel within Europe to meet with stakeholders.
Requirements
• Outstanding communication skills including stakeholder engagement, stakeholder management, presentation skills and ability to offer support.
• Background having worked on projects within logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain essential.
• Functional knowledge of MRP systems in a manufacturing company, ability to communicate and explain basic principles.
• Experience of a divestment, merger or acquisition advantageous.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the EU
