IT Rollout EU Project Manager - Hosted ApplicationOur global pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with ability to partner with global, regional, and functional business groups, IT, and global PM to successfully plan, develop, and implement an EMEA solution for the Global Interactions Policy and Platform Project.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead regional project needs including technical solution, implementation, support, quality. Direct/participate in all phases of project implementation.
• Review project team deliverables to ensure quality/adherence to standards.
• Plan and oversee the execution of regional implementation plan. Manage regional project plan.
• Coordinate communication plan with Communications Team and Project Core Team.
• Change management activities including: translation updates, process updates, training and related communications.
• Manage training activities including: defining the training plan for the region, translation work, status updates on training initiatives, scheduling of training and execution of training.
• Ensure all regional requirements are fully documented and approved.
• Support work needed for works council(s) approvals.
• Coordinate language translation work.
• Manage IT related tasks for region and communicate status to global IT PM.
• Track and report regional financial data to global PM.
• Coordinate data migration activities related to the region.
• Work with other resources as needed to coordinate go-live support and ongoing operational activities.
• Manage Issues, Risks, Changes and Action items for the region.
• Interact with a diverse set of customers: understand business/anticipate IT solutions based on business/technical knowledge educate/ influence business project sponsor.
Experiences & Attributes
• Extensive experience in systems rollout projects, project management and organizational change management.
• Well versed in SDLC/regulatory requirements for a hosted application.
• Experience with global business process change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of project development/implementation processes (scope, resource, risk, and project financials management skills.
• Solid business acumen, influencing, communications, teamwork skills.
• Proven track record delivering projects on-time/on-budget.
• Must be able to manage in a highly matrix environment.
• Prudent risk taker. Leadership experience with ability to develop business and team relationships.
• Experience working with European Work Counsels to get system approvals, desired.
• PMP certification not required but a plus.
• Healthcare and/or Life Sciences experience in Finance and/or Legal-E&C desired.
