Senior Quantitative Analyst- Geneva - Asset ManagementThe EMPLOYER
Our client is a solid financial institution existing for more than 60 years on the Swiss and international market. In order to reinforce their investment strategy, they are looking for a SENIOR QUANT profile who will be focused on developing quant investment strategies, multi assets.
The ROLE
You will report to the Head of the department and will be working closely with the front office, your main skills will be:
- Support the portfolio managers and front office in their investment strategies and customer needs
- Provide quant analysis and researches in line with the need of the department
- Build up quant investment strategies applicable in portfolio construction and management, asset allocation, bonds, equities
- Develop mathematics and statistics models for several assets classes (commodities, equities, bonds, etc,)
- Act as a key player for the front office, propose ad hoc solutions in response to client's request
Your PROFILE
- Min. Master degree in Applied Sciences (mathematics, statistics, physics, econometric or similar)
- Min 5 years experience as a quant analyst exposed to quant investment strategy + ability to develop investment strategies and to communicate them
- Extensive knowledge in research; ability to use experimental and theoretical models in the field of finance and mathematics/statistics
- IT and programming skills (R, Java, Matlab, C++,etc.)
- Familiar with financial markets
- Skills in data management
- Very good communication skills, clients oriented and solutions minded
- Fluent in English and ideally in French
