A well established organisation based in the Southwest of England are looking for an individual with extensive Clinical Development experience and ideally experience in Medical Affairs to join them at a very exciting time.A well established organisation are looking for an individual with extensive Clinical Development experience and ideally experience within Medical Affairs to join them at a very exciting time.
The title has not yet been decided as it is not a standard role and can be right for a very senior level candidate as well as someone who is currently doing a Medical Director role.
The background of this individual needs to include at least 5 years' experience of working in Clinical Development across Phases I-III.
The marketing rights for this organisation's products are currently with a number of leading Pharma but they are now looking to move into the commercial side themselves and take charge of the entire drug development process from start to finish.
As you can see, this role will be primarily within the Clinical Development function but will not be limited to this area. You will get involved with mergers and acquisitions of new products and companies as well as Medical Affairs duties once they move into the commercial space.
As a result, they will require someone with solid experience in both Clinical Development and ideally Medical Affairs. Whilst they are currently dedicated to Respiratory, they are actually looking to expand outside of this and someone with experience in biologics would also be helpful.
