Senior Analyst - Modeller / £40K / LeedsThis role offers the exciting opportunity to become a value adding member of the Mortgages & Savings Analytics Team for a major bank.
Experience and Skills
- Influence key stakeholders, helping to shape decisions by clearly explaining the financial values and risks.
- Capability to build relatively sophisticated tools and models
- Strong analytical skill set with ability to shape and solve complex problems / the ability to think through issues
- A high level of numeracy - preferably a good degree in a numerically orientated subject.
- Highly competent in Excel, SQL and VBA.
- Access and SAS are not essential but helpful if you have them and good knowledge of Terradata / GRiD is preferable
- Ensure robust governance exists around the current pricing tools helping to build credibility and reliance on tools.
- Clearly articulates and explains complex information in a simple manner
