C# WCF-WPF / Fixed Income / Contract / London / £450-£550pdMy client a top tier investment bank based in central London is looking C# Developer with strong front to back development experience to join their expanding team.
What the role will entail:
This is an exciting time within the Fixed Income IT team as we are embarking on several large change initiatives, designed to change the user experiences with the Fixed Income platform. You will be part of a global team with developers located in London and Chicago. As part of the SCRUM team, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and coding enterprise applications and tools using various Microsoft and third party technologies.
We are looking for a senior hands-on technologist who is passionate about technology and building/customizing applications while using multiple tools/languages to create best in class enterprise level solutions.
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
- 7 - 10 years of overall development experience building Enterprise grade applications
- Must have either Fixed Income or Equity Derivatives current business knowledge
- 5+ years of development experience in .NET using C#, with experience in C# 4.0/4.5 being highly desirable.
- SQL - 7 years minimum
- Agile development experience (Scrum or XP)
- WCF
- WinForms and/or WPF
- Test Driven Development (TDD) using NUnit or equivalent
- Multi threading, parallel programming
- SubVersion/TortiseSVN/Ankh
- Messaging (TIBCO or MQ)
- Database Design
- SCRUM Master certification
- Experience in database performance tuning, including database design and SQL
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Experience with Fixed Income applications and/or trade order management systems
