Description
SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN with experience of Documentum or similar content management systems is required by an international IT organisation at their office in New York, US. The role will require you to support the client's CMS' as well as their network, server and other environments(Linux, Windows etc).Please note that this position can also be based at the client's office in Valencia, Spain but only candidates with EU citizenship will be applicable.
Systems Technician duties:
. Support the administration and maintenance of content management systems (Documentum) as well as server products and environments (Linux, Windows, SQL Server)
. Provide support for Xythos and DotNetNuke, as necessary
. Help with the implementation and rollout plans for the content management systems.
. Collaborate with multiple individuals/teams to help establish standards and policies for content management systems.
. Assist in the development of project plans detailing scope of work, objectives, identifying roles and responsibilities, work breakdown, deliverables and schedule.
. Work with Systems Analysts to perform unit and integration testing as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
. Provide CMS training to helpdesk and/or end users
. Support other systems and perform other related duties as required by the service
System Skills Required:
. You MUST HAVE previous Documentum or Content Management System experience, especially administration and maintenance.
. Strong experience in network support, in particular Cisco Routers and Switches.
. Good technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, and SQL Server.
. Good technical knowledge of Xythos and DotNetNuke and integration testing; as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
. Local and Metropolitan Area Networking; TCP/IP Networking environment; and Network Management Systems (NMS systems).
. ITIL knowledge.
. Knowledge of voice and data over satellite is desirable.
. Excellent knowledge of English is required (both written and verbal).
. Spanish language skills is a bonus especially for the Valencia location.
